1) Wednesday - Atelier Cologne -
Tobacco Nuit Absolue (what a name)
A voluptuous and romantic fragrance for an ultra feminine woman ...“A woman of such intimidating beauty and sparkling vitality gained the adoration of everyone around her. However, no one knew what she had been through. With her wild spirit, she was tough, stronger than metal, and never looked...

It's like a 80% version of Tobacco Vanlle, but at 95% the cost of Tobacco Vanille.
It's right in my wheel house as far as scents go, but it's redundant per my collection
2) Ended the day with Givenchy -
Gentleman Society - Don't really know what to say about this, other than I'm surprised that it's got so much mass appeal
3) Today - Burberry -
Hero Parfum Intense - what a name! - Much like Strong with You Parfum was the same cologne but stronger/richer, this is exactly the same as Hero EDP - just stronger and richer. That first 30 seconds, I was like, huh...but it got right back in the groove before I could blink.
4) Ending today with Marc Antoine Barrois -
Ganymede
This is a fragrance community hypebeast, that didn't really cross over like BR 540. Keep in Mind BR 540 came out in 2016, and didn't really get hype until maybe 3-4 years ago (by my reckoning). (African Leather hasn't crossed over yet either. )
This won't crossover.
In terms of understanding the hype, it's a "freshie", but it's an "indie", and it's "artistic" - that is, it doesn't smell bad, it's totally wearable - but it's one of those joints that it's hard to describe.
For me, it smells like the water flowing over rocks in a geology museum.
Like you're panning for gold, but coming up on galena instead

It's watery, sorta. It's definitely minerally (but not like the "earth" of Terre d' Hermes).
It's kinda soapy...but that might just be my own body chemistry mixing in.
It's "kinda" chemical-y - in that it doesn't smell natural, but also doesn't smell like mop-n-glo.
My inability to place it, might mean I'll scrub it off in a few hours.
