PARADIS NUIT - Eau de parfum

Top notes: neroli, petitgrain, Marseille soap accord
Middle notes: cassie flower, cedar, patchouli
Base notes: cocoa, sandalwood, hay

composed of 95% natural ingredients
-----------------------------------

*I like this. I'm a soap note fanatic but this really not that soapy. This smells more like clean air in a spa. To be honest, I can't pick out any of the notes listed. I like this but I want shyt to be soapy if there is a soap note.

SOTD - Room 1015 - Cherry Punk Extrait

I've got the original Cherry Punk, and now this one.

It's not that much different. It might last a bit longer, but other than that, typical cherry fragrance. TF's Lost Cherry is the basic DNA/basic style, and I'd probably grab the clone, Lonely Cherie.

Noème: Vanille de Sambava

This fragrance is an invitation to get lost in the lushness of the jungle, to feel the vital force of nature in its purest form. Every note of ' Sambava ' captures the richness of this mystical land, where vanilla fills the air with its subtle and intoxicating sweetness.

A celebration of wild nature, of preserved beauty, and of the sublime aroma of vanilla, unfolding like a poem in the air. ' Sambava ' is an ode to the power and delicacy of nature, a sensory journey to a verdant and hidden paradise.

Olfactory family: Gourmand and Oriental

Perfumer: Emna DOGHRI

OLFACTORY NOTES

Top notes : Bergamot, Apple, Coconut, Orange, Pink pepper
Heart notes : Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Chocolate, Iris, Peony
Base notes : Rum, Frosted Vanilla, Tonka Bean

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking at all the notes and considering the name, the thing I smell most is a note not even listed.....pineapple. :jbhmm: I think the way the notes combine it creates a sort of a pina colada scent with the pineapple being stronger then the coconut. I get lil of the vanilla. This is loud. nice sillage.

I was going thru my decants and I haven't loved every one I bought.

But if there's two that I actively hate, it's

Osaito by M. Micallef
and
Mefisto by Xerjoff (Not Mefisto Gentiluomo, which I haven't smelled)

Those weren't recommended to me by anyone. Just random crap I added to my decantx cart a while back.

Thank goodness it was only 2ml decants but still.

Yesterday - Shire

Notes
  • hay
  • oatmeal
  • hazelnut
  • bergamot
  • lavender
  • herbal tea
  • westfarthing leaf (tobacco)
  • seed cake
  • jasmine
  • orris
  • honey.
The hay/straw and the tea stand out the most to me in this one.

Today - Coffee Tabac

Notes
  • Loose-leaf burley tobacco
  • mocha coffee
  • vanilla
  • cedar
  • guaiac wood
  • incense patchouli
  • resins
  • spices
  • patchouli.
This is basically a list of all the notes I tend to love, in one fragrance.

I just put it on, and I get that brown/red tobacco + that leaf tobacco, but not really catching the rest of the notes on the opening.
*5 minutes later - there's the coffee. I usually expect that one first. I'm betting in a 60-90 minutes the patchouli is gonna be there.

So far with Pineward - it's all notes that I like - but none of the scents really got me hype. The most I can say is that "they don't stink".

I'll prolly throw on T-Rex later today, cause even though it's not that chilly, I feel chilly.

I got decants of Labyrinth of Spices and Eye of Seven Hills.

I like Seven Hills better but both are good.
I'm tempted to try those you posted just because they made a good impression on me so far.
