Sweatergod....Guerlain L'Homme Ideal is gonna be my cool weather every day scent.

It just fits me.

Maybe Bleu de Chanel Parfum as the other every scent. I dunno.

I got an event coming up around Thanksgiving in the city and I'm trying to figure out what to wear for that. Drinks and dinner with friends. Night out scenario.

This is looking ahead a lot but maybe I play it relatively safe with Layton or Ombre Leather or Tobacco Vanille.

I have been wanting to rock Clive Christian Jump Up & Kiss Me Hedonistic tho. :lupe:
Got a sample of this and I'm in love. The cherry and almonds in this are ridiculous.

Received my 10ml sample of Soul Cafe this weekend. Am I tripping or is this 10ml big as hell? This “sample” will easily last me months.

This is a standout in my collection of designer and niche fragrances. MFK blend quality with an artistic scent profile that’s different without being weird or off-putting. Beau Noir and Sin, Santo & Sage are next after experiencing this masterpiece.

Yea I grabbed the sample last month. The size of the bottle have to be more than 10mL
Good lord.

The Savoire Faire sample pack arrived and good lord look at this.

Soul Cafe- First off I already spun the block and bought a full bottle of this after sampling for 20 minutes. This is just too damn good. Tobacco, bergamot, and blood orange in the opening and then the coffee kicks in about 10 minutes later and then just goes straight boozy. This is blended masterfully and should be priced higher. Never smelled anything like it.

Lovesuede-This is straight leather/suede and citrus and definitely a fall scent but can be pulled off in the early spring. Reminds me of rich, Corinthian leather in a luxury car. Great quality once again. Probably

Sin, Santo, and muthafukkin-Sage- This was my favorite out of the sample. b/c it's unique as hell and doesn't smell like anything I've ever smelled before. Yes I already bought a 50mL as well. An earthy almost old world, old cedar tree, sage, and palo santo frag. Hard to explain and truthfully still can't describe it. A real emotional fragrance for me. I had to sit with this yesterday evening and was just enamored with it. Spray my pillow last night and this thing is stuck in my head. Soul Cafe is excellent but this one is soooo different it stayed on my mind to the point I brought it to work today. Still sniffing it.

Beau noir is better but ascension is the best I got a triple sample as a gift years ago. Not my favorite scents in my collection but it’s perfect for grocery shopping or gym or a day I don’t feel like using the good stuff
I'll add the Ascension to the Discovery Set. 'Preciate the plug!

Top notes are Amalfi Lemon, Bergamot, Cardamom, Pink Pepper and Pepper;
Middle notes are Juniper Berries, Nutmeg, Thyme and Peony;
Base notes are Gin, Oakmoss and Tonka Bean.

Opening is bright. The citrus here is real strong. Shyt reminding me of sum king of sparking or fizz type drink but I can't put my finger on it but I like it.
Some interesting stuff going on in the middle but the base dry-down is where it's at cuz of the gin obviously.

It's not loud. Could be a frequent casual wear.

I heard Frapin is good but the longevity is lacking. Can you confirm?

Facts

Perfect for warm to hot days on sum chill shyt

Well it depends on what's your personal definition of longevity fr lol

Sum niccas want shyt that last 12 hours "like our dad's cologne used to" and then some think 6-8 hours is cool which for me, it comes right under that baseline depending on what I wear.

Frapin 1270 and 1270 extreme gives me about 4-6 or so hours on a good day. And the most recent one, L'humaniste, it's so light, it honestly gets super faint around 3-4 hours for me. Would def not get a full bottle prob, even tho I like it

Danger-Pour-Homme-Parfum-1.jpg

  • Top notes: Lemon, bergamot, lavender, tarragon

  • Heart notes: Lily of the valley, jasmin de grasse, violet

  • Base notes: Rhubarb, galbanum, clove, cumin, patchouli, oakmoss, wood notes, vetiver, cedarwood, vanilla, tonka bean, leather, ambergris, musk

I've been waiting to try this one for a min now for personal reasons. It was a blind buy battle off between this joint & the Tuttle (Tiziana Terenzi) that I ended up gettin' for a niccas bday last month. Gotta say, I'm glad I went with Tuttle cuz that bih is a mf beast, especially compared to this Roja.

I'm starting to realize, for me at least, Roja's house is very refined, and somewhat quiet in a sense. They're not, like, attention grab jawns fr like that. Not that I care too much about that shyt but it ain't packing that much of a punch projection wise. Overall tho, this Danger joint, once u get past the opening which fades quick for me, it's powdery, earthy & a little woody ⏸️ . For some reason, I get babershop aftershave vibes at sum points but not in a bad way. Def ole school vibe to sum degree.

Notes - Santal | Cuban Cigar | Smoked Rum

Like the photo, the sandal wood dominates this joint. Straight Basura. I am now firmly in the "I hate sandalwood" camp.

Scents of Wood - Rain on Oak

Rain_on_Oak-Scents_of_Wood-10ml_Travel_Spray_2_720x.jpg

Notes - pink pepper, aquatic notes, geosmin, rose absolute, labdanum , cashmeran, healingwood, orris concrete, oakwood

The Geosmin (the scent of rain) goes HARD here. Like wow. Lotta folks wanna smell like fresh rain, this is it.
The wood is definitely there though.
The pink pepper is another nose tickler.

I don't even know of Scents of Wood offers this in a big bottle. But you can find it with a quick google search.

Want to get my hands on this Born To Stand Out discovery set.

Very reasonable price. I've only got Indecent Cherry in this set and Dirty Rice.
