I would suggest buying 4-5 decants of the Tom Ford fragrances that you think you would like. Then if you really like one you should purchase the bottle.
One of my regrets is blind buying bottles when I first starting started.

I go back and forth with liking it TBH.
Nothing is ever a blind buy, but I wouldn't even want more than 2-3 mls of the stuff. I can't see myself wearing it, unless somebody mentions it on this thread and I want to check it out for the day.
I prefer Viking Cologne. Viking smells like a pine tree to me and puts me in the mind of an older guy. I only have a decant but that's what I remember the first time smelling it.
Yeah, older as in 55-65.
This ain't a club scent, a date night scent...it might be an every day scent if you run the hardware store.

I'm still suspicious, and some of the reviews seem out of touch (Aventus? Really?)
It's funny cause Interlude by Amouage has a huge oregano note, and I'm more reminded of the pizza joint down the street than I am of "blue fragrances". (It's called the Blue Beast, but I'm not sure if it's really supposed to be bleu like Chanel/Dior)
Can't point to no specifics, but a lot of the fragrances coming out this year are described as "vegetal" and garden like. So tomato leaf is showing.
Herbaceous and "herb" gets a pass.
Carrot seeds get a pass.
Rice? Gets a pass
Cumin? Doesn't get a pass, even though it's in a lot of cologne.
But if someone drops a Oxtail and Rice and Peas scent - I'm copping
