Not really any tips, I primarily learned off trial an error. First off realize that it's an ongoing process and you will fuq up...be prepared to rock a #0000 length cut. I'm pretty good at lining up the front, but I can't line the back up for shyt..still go to a barber to get that looking right.
I've been growing it for 2-3 weeks, usually get it cut once a week.
For now Ima just lower it a lil bit to see how I do,
if im successful than i'll give it a light fade and let the top grow in.
Get an andis masters set of clippers Bruh. Best pair I've ever owned. You can check a YouTube vid for how to fade. A lot of it is trial and error for your head and hair type
I been doin my own shape up for years but I neva had the balls try and actually cut my own hair, good luck wit it though, use extra cation with the back
