Did Jim Ross saying "if you didnt love that as a wrestling fan then move on" at the end of naito vs okada get to you too? I thought the match was alright nothing super amazing, i was wondering why i didnt mark as much as i thought i would

It wasn't amazing, I thought it was pretty good but not some next level shyt. Those two still can't top their 12' "breakout" match :francis:

Don't blame you, breh :yeshrug:

I quit watching WWE live last year. Couldn't bring myself to stick around to watch what Vince did with Nakamura and the whole Broken universe. Anything interesting, I can normally catch in a 3 minute youtube vid.

Also Hogan is undoubtedly going to show up at some point, and I wasn't going to Juelz myself into continuing to watch after he does. :francis:

Nah I have no interest in WWE, literally nobody on the roster interests me in the slightest and I hate this new work rate era. I can't even watch all classics anymore either tho

Yeah I'm at this point too. Like I love the og stuff but it's all based on nostalgia driven glasses sadly. For instance, when I was doing a ECW binge last year...omg:whoa:. I seen every flaw, every hypocritical thing neckbeards gloat about (nonsensical storylines and extra fluff), and just plain horrible booking (Funk winning the gold while Stevie Richards looking like :aicmon:). Once again, I love wrestling and appreciate what these guys do in the ring but we clearly need a change in the atmosphere. I mean there's no innovation at all beyond LU and maybe DDT, but even DDT has issues. Like others stated, we clearly need a break or sadly a depart from the industry altogether. I look at it as me following Soccer, but not actually following Soccer., I peep the scores and some trades that matter but like wrestling I know the end result :shaq2: (Bayern winning/a wrestler that deserves the belt...not getting the belt). On that note, I catch a PPV with the TSC brehs because I craved fukkery, but beyond that I moved onto greener pastures like cinema :ehh:.

This.

Between movies, regular TV, cable and streaming services, there is too much fire content to cordon off anywhere from 5-9 hours a week for Vince's nonsense.

I think what made wrestling great was the feeling of anticipation. The Monday Night Wars for instance was the epitome of dialing back on over-saturation because you had no other choice but to tune in. WWF Superstars wasn't going to continue with what happen on Monday, along with WCW Saturday Night. This type of booking is genius because it doesn't take away from the element of surprise. I don't get that with Raw or Smackdown. Like when Sami saved Owens from Shane at HIAC 2017. I didn't go :lupe:"gee I gotta tune in on Smackdown to see whats popping". Instead, I was :mjlol: and kept it bouncing. This is not cool because you want fans to tune in on the fukkery, not keep it bouncing. This is why movies and even TV shows are making a comeback because of the element of surprise. The marvel movies are thriving because of a evergoing universe spread upon movies. Hell, people are beating against the walls of FX for Atlanta season 2 due to dialing back on over saturation. Right now, I'm addicted to FilmStruck because they put out classic movies with this unique pitch on why you should see the shyt. Plus, the expiration date of the flicks doesn't help either, so I'm binging during my downtime to see every piece of film:wow:. While wrestling is doing good on a streaming standpoint, this shyt will hit a "Crash of 83" issue if the industry doesn't addressing the follow:

 • Unpredictable booking
 • Innovative Storylines
 • Looking beyond the machine (working with WWE)
 • WWE working with the industry (stop signing wrestlers and just doing one time only tournaments)
 • Cut back on the nonsensical fluff (overkill amounts of wrestling content without no rhyme or rhythm)
It may look like "we byke" but clearly we got a long way to go in the industry:ld:
All that kiddie shyt is what makes wrestling wrestling though:wow:. fukkery is a huge point with wrestling along with promos and so forth. I thrived for that shyt. A dude getting interviewed having a conniption about the devious shyt they want to do to their opponent :demonic:. You want dudes to get to fighting, watch MMA:mjlol:.

Now WWE I understand the frustration because wtf:francis:...
Thats why you feel like you feel then....thats the part of wrestling that hooked you..a Ric or Rock or Austin promo that had you ready to see them fight..nah not me lol, i knew i was a life long wrasslin fan not when i 1st heard a promo and was like:picard:.......but when i first saw a fukking Powerbomb! and was like:whoo::wtf::banderas:Yo, what the fukk was that?!!:damn:
And these nikkas still coming up with new and devastating ways to flatten each other:pachaha:as long as that part of wrestling never dies i could give two shyts about what they talkin bout:hubie:

Started watching 15 min clips of shows to keep from burning out. Much better than wasting hours watching something you will regret later on.

Wrestling is hard to watch now man. I’ve gradually went from not watching to not even reading the results. I’ll check TSC sporadically cause it’s an awesome forum but wrestling is just not entertaining anymore.
