I love this wrestling thing of ours. I grew up on it. The guys in charge suck but there are people who got trained to be in this and who died in the game who deserve respect.

The WWE's push Roman at all costs measure is horrible but the talent surrounding it is very good on a historical level.

It's not even all about the Roman situation. It's the fact that they are not trying to do much with the midcard to upper card. Even in the WCW days, when they pushed the living hell out of the NWO and Goldberg, I could easily fall back on hour 1 and 2 action, before the old guys stunk up the joint. WWE however it feels like a battle of frustration and ADHD as everything on the show from the overdone camera effects to dead segments with meh matches makes it not worth the 3 hour investment. Roman could have Ultimo Dragon arms of gold, but a good midcard movement along with some tag team action would seal the deal for me to be honest.

I take breaks from time to time. I try to catch all the wwe ppvs, haven't watched raw or smack down in months aside from the YouTube highlights. Thought WK was great. Have the network for the same reason I have Netflix, it's only ten bucks.

Only watch wwe full time from rumble to mania and even then I'm not that keen on watching full eps of raw and smack down.

Will watch the 25th anniversary show for nostalgia fukkkery.

Wrestling has mostly social appeal for me these days, I like talking abut the fukkery on here and watching with other fans when I get to, but from a purely individual standpoint there's too much else that I find more entertaining

I reached this point in like 09' when I was watching way too much shyt and in the end it felt like a chore to catch up to everything. So I just took a break and only watched some territory goodness and the feeling came back like :blessed:

I keep telling you to watch to good stuff from places like Big Japan and All Japan and you insist in watching everything, that's gonna be hard to keep up with no matter what. I couldn't even tell what was the last non-WWE show I saw in full in the last couple of years. Just watch what interests you :manny:

We might be in the best Era to watch wrestling, but it's really easy to get burned out, specially when the style that's used in most places is NOT suited to be seen as regularly as it's available right now.

I dropped WWE completely because the product is intentionally stale and stuck in place. There not trying to do anything new, there not trying to revamp the presentation, just more of the same old same old for the foreseeable future, and I ain't wasting my time with that anymore. Now I'm only watching LU and NJPW.

Also, to get you into LU, watch this
(1 of the craziest matches you'll ever see & a 2017 MOTY)
(the breakdown of the whole feud)

Demote yourself to casual status and cherrypick what you watch breh, it’s the best way. I maybe watch a RAW (used to be SD too but they ruined it for me :mjcry:) or two a month, watch clips of whatever looks interesting on YouTube, and cherry pick matches out of the card to watch unless it’s a live thread. I skimmed through WK12 and skipped Clash of the Champions entirely. These shows are too long to watch straight through, much less in one sitting. This is actually strengthened my fandom of wrestling, because by minimizing my intake of what I perceived to be uninteresting or boring and increasing my exposure to things that looked entertaining to me, it heightened my enjoyment and made me appreciate it more.

WK was too long and had a lot of :hhh: moments for me. Too much shyt that makes Indy wrestling (and wrestling in general) in 2018 complete trash. Stupid spots, strikes, and wrestlers that overall bury themselves by doing stupid shyt that makes them look dumb :mjlol:. Last two matches were good, loved Omega/Jericho. Was falling asleep by the last match though. Took me 4 days to finish the event. :deadmanny:

I haven't watched in raw or SD in years except for select special shows or segments that sounded interesting (good or bad). I follow along through podcasts (POST wrestling) and it's all you need. I will stream parts of PPVs in the background if they sound interesting. Which they've done by hotshotting programs every month. My guilty pleasure is also the politics that ruin the product  Like HHH at Survivor Series, the booking of that match in general, shane, and Stephanie and the women. shyt is hilarious when you think about what they do to feed their egos. HHH is a face one segment them a heel the next one :mjlol:. Charlotte flair being given everything, Alexa too :mjpls:

Spending 5 hours minimum a week on WWE alone is :hhh: even if it was good.

I'm looking forward to the Raw anniversary and Royal Rumble, should be fun. But says a lot since nostalgia is a big part of both those shows.

Couldn't imagine watching every week.
