It wasn't a traditional anime and that's why it's GOAT, too much swag in the style department it draws alot of influence from early 70s animated cinema

Love the music, but I couldn’t get into this at all. Overrated.
Always felt it was a bootleg (Great Value) Bebop. It was cool though but didnt have the music or Spaghetti Western feel to it.

What I wouldn't give for hand drawn cel anime to make a comeback.
Something about digital stuff just don't look right, it's too shiny and sleek, my homies peeped me to a few series last year after many moons away and while technically they're really great, they just don't feel right. I have the same issue with comics other than the ones Jim Lee draws.
I can't get into any Marvel Comic written after 1991 (with a few exceptions). Infinity Gauntlet was the Grand Finale of that whole universe as far as I'm concerned, everything else is just epilogue status.
