Playing Diablo on my laptop, I realize if I want maximum performance Im going to have to upgrade to a legit Gaming PC..Playing with these shyty framerates got me :sadbron:

Budget $3000

I want a gaming PC that will give me high performance gaming on all the highest settings at 60+ FPS for the next 5 years

I also want high performance sound for making music

Is going with a Dual Graphics Card an Option?

I also want to go with the Dual Monitor Setup

Will $3000 build me the system of my dreams?

There are too many hardware options that I get confused.. I want ultimate performance both Gaming and Music

Help me out Brehs :manny:

Google will help you immesaureably. No joke. So many options out there. Intel or AMD? NVIDIA or ATI/AMD. Come back once you have an idea of the pieces you want to buy and we can give you input from there.

Im def going intel.. I hear the i7 chip isnt even necessar for high performance gaming.. and Im thinking of going with NVIDIA simply because my perception says they make better graphics card

Im pretty lost with everything else.. Especially when It comes to buying a motherboard, type of Ram and Type of Harddrive, and Soundcard

What are you rocking for your setup?

Don't spend 3k on a computer.

You can get a computer that's 80% as good as a 3k computer, for $1200.00

Really? Help me out Breh.. I want to play Diablo at 120FPS

You think a dual Graphics card is a good idea?

Eh, don't get caught up in the numbers game.

Diablo at 60 fps is just as good as diablo at 120 fps, you'll just have an extra couple grand in your pocket.

I've never gone with dual graphics cards but some dudes swear by it :yeshrug:.

Nice.... You think an i7 is neccessary for future gaming?

if you gonna go ham go ham :mjpls:

i spent 1g for around the same stuff minus i7, GTX 680, and the SSD

that i7 isnt that much more than the i5-3750k that im using

nothing i linked up was "overpriced" save maybe the video card, but imo if you gonna spend money it better be there

diablo 3 at high settings can be played on a 3 year old machine :skip: if graphics are your concern i suggest you benchmark it with more intensive games

depending on your monitor tho frames higher than 60 dont make a difference(even with a 120hz monitor i dont think youll notice anyways)

I think the i5 is actually a better gaming processor? Either that or there's no discernable difference.
