Brehs, are we ever going to have a SERIOUS discussion about the PHOENIX SUNS and Kevin Durant?

And so many people actually thought he was the best player on the warriors. It's a joke.

KD isn't top 10 or 15.

He probably #21 or some shyt.

Fact is, if he never goes to Golden State, he isn't even Harden status all time.

And that's sad.
KD was the best player on GS. The best player on OKC, The best player in Brooklyn, the best player in Phoenix. If he goes anywhere else outside of Denver, Dallas, OKC and Milwaukee he'd still be the best player.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Horribly constructed roster, hopefully teams realize they gotta stop chasing big names thinking they can make it work
Teams with 2 stars and a high level role player HAVE ALWAYS performed better than teams with 3 stars. Rather aging or in their primes. New York and Boston are built correctly. 2 stars and high level role players. LA would be much better if they had a Draymond or a Josh Hart but they have the 2 stars without the high level role folks.

How those 2 stars play mixed with what that high level role player does well can be the difference between a dynasty and a consistent 5-8 seed. It makes no sense to have 3 players who all specialize in scoring off the dribble. Probably the dumbest shyt I've ever seen from a roster standpoint with multiple great players. A prime Draymond or prime Klay could take LA and Phoenix from where they are right now to the top seed in the conference in place of the 3rd best on both teams.

The H
Been saying this for years

He's one of the greatest #2 options. Not a #1 option and should not be on anyone's Top 20 list

Yep. GSW was Steph’s team. BKN was Harden’s team. Hell, even OKC was Russ’ team if we being real. KD is the ultimate closer, but he’s not leading a team.

And now you basically have two #2s trying to win in PHX. KD, Kyrie, Book.. all these games are in the same category. They need a real #1 to play off of.

I think people are just unreasonably about their expectations in the current “parity era”

It’s HARRD to construct a legit good roster that can compete in todays modern NBA, and when you do that window is incredibly short

The only one who has sustained success in the past 3-4 years has been the Celtics

KD isn’t the problem. Just like in LA, or Milwaukee, or the Warriors, or the Heat, the roster isn’t good enough

KD leaving Golden State was fine

The issue was him keep on trying to play with other superstars and forming big threes, instead of just 1 star next to him with good role players ans coaching

Remember when he and Kyrie got Atkinson fired and brought in Steve Nash so that they can play iso ball?
