No one seemed to care about Jordan 1’s when I was coming up, the 11’s were the Holy Grail.

The 11s are sneaker perfection…they still are

Best sneaker of all time is probably the AF1 hands down. Most copied style ever, perennial classics. shyt they might be even more popular now than ever

unfortunately they played tf out now that corny cacs are wearing them. also they're a pretty uncomfortable shoe for long term wear - standing and walking all day would have my feet sore

New Balance gets my money now, most comfort and support by far imo and enough colorways to go with anything.

I'm an Air Max 90 type of fella

In the 2000s I preferred AF1s. Both shoes are good uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours though, especially if you are walking a bit. Jordan 3s, 5s, and even 12s are way more comfortable to wear.
