I don’t think people’s lives should be dictated, but we also shouldn’t overlook the normalization of this behavior. Bring shame back.
Uh, no. Y’all say mind your own business like it doesn’t indirectly affect people. People born into unstable situations are more likely to become detrimental members of society. Y’all just don’t want the shame associated with bringing children into the world out of wedlock.

These people are better than those people, this way of living is superior to that way of living, etc. However these hierarchies are not based in data but usually the person's feelings or supposed passed down traditions.
A leftist is more about egalitarianism, and the ability for everyone to make their own decisions on how they live their life. It is about breaking down hierarchies, so every individual is not hampered by their immutable characteristics.
A liberal likes the language of the leftist but still wants hierarchies. For modern day liberals they want the hierarchy of capitalism, but try to act like the other hierarchies it brings (patriarchy, racism, homophobia, etc) are separate from the capitalism. Their inability to see that causes them to go harder on displaying identity politics but want to keep the structures of capital (think more black CEOs).

It's the name-calling and labeling someone's stance on issues like these as "conservative" that make people go to the right.
I agree with raising a child in a traditional 2 parent household.

We should be able to have a conversation about why we've normalized single parent households and not be labeled a Republican or a conservative.

This is a beautiful thing. And a lot of black people want to have this same dynamic, according to the comments. I think we just have loud minorities who are salty they haven't been able to cultivate a healthy family dynamic.
