So basically being a liberal or a progressive in the social or economical sense is associated with DYSFUNCTION.

That’s the problem. They don’t view it as dysfunctional. I’ve noticed a deflection they like to run is pointing out the worst situations of children being raised in dysfunctional two-parent households while pointing out successful adults born out of wedlock. Anyone who’s interacted with a large group of people raised in two parent married households (including Black ppl) vs those who weren’t know there is a clear consistent difference 90% of the time.
