I definitely think our infrastructure could be better, like I wish I could bike to work. But dude's opinion is kind of silly. Hell you can get on facebook right now and see how many groups there are to join.

Technology and social media.

Not to mention, everything in this country revolves around paying bills. Millions of people work to pay bills. 40+ hours a week. Multiple jobs. A lot of people are either too tired or too broke to do anything.

This is why High School and College years are considered prime years because once that's over, the circle gets smaller as Life goes on.

Then add the fact that America is built on Individualism and that today you can find people mostly buried in their iPhone, headphone, or too busy focused on them.
