This is why it's important if she knew him or not:

"Police said evidence gathered through the course of their investigations helped investigators connect Billingsley to both crimes. Detectives are now reviewing all cases since October 2022 to determine if he could be connected to any more, according to police."

Domestic would imply that he's not as great of a danger to the public. If it's random than anybody can get it and might have already gotten it.

Apparently he was arrested in Bowie. They press conference is at 11am.

He shouldn't have been let out of prison in the first place.

These things are surprisingly common. Unfortunately, it just becomes a crime statistic as the usual victims are people within the community they're let loose in.

I feel so sorry for that girl. She was incredibly bright and well accomplished for only 26.

When I was living in my lux apartment a couple years ago, I would go up on the roof to the pool area to relax sometimes. There was a vending machine there in a small closed off area that I would get drinks from periodically. One day this young black man who worked security saw me and asked if I was new because he never saw me before. I said no, I was actually about to move out and he said “aww that’s unfortunate”. We left it at that and I went back to my apartment. So the next evening I did the same thing. Went to the pool, stepped away to get a drink. Why was dude sitting stooped down in the corner behind the vending machine when I walked in? I was like wtffffff. Mind you, it’s only me and him up there. Late at night. He was staring hard so I pretended like my tap to pay didn’t work and I left. I *never* went back up there. He clearly was monitoring my routine and God knows what he had planned for me that night. I was shaking because what reason did he have to be sitting behind a vending machine peering through cracks when he’s on security duty? Very odd and very frightening. And it was sad because I loved how safe I felt in that particular apartment, crazy how one man completely ruined my experience.

How was he out after only doing 11 years of a 30 year sentence for a violent crime? Everyone involved in letting him out should be arrested.
The judges and parole board should have to answer for this.

No one wants violent criminals let back into society. NO ONE.

No one thinks good behavior in prison should mean you are released back to civilization.

The type of decision never ever consider the prior victims either. You think the family or his prior victims want this evil man back on the streets. Now he has new victims and new families with trauma
