Dudes went from walking their dog to being put on a battlefield. No desire to fight and little to no training. Casualties mean nothing in this.

Russia helped the breakaway regions in response while NATO funded the central government.
Donbas held ground against Ukraine with NATO backing and maintained sovereignty in their provinces.
Russia came in when a big push was about to occur and you get the invasion. So no matter how you think you are framing it , it looks bad on NATO for funding a terrible government as what they installed in the Ukraine
Russia is going to end this war a having accomplished the political objectives it sought. Ukraine will have failed. That's is a win for Russia and the donbas no matter how you spin it.

I like Zelensky as a leader but I agree with that he’s reaching here. Ukraine has units of foreign soldiers. China can’t control who wants to go to Ukraine for money. Unless he can show a connection between this soldier and the Chinese state it won’t mean anything.i stand corrected

US spent 20 years in Afghanistan and everything they did was lost the minute they withdraw.
US spen close to a decade in Vietnam and accomplished nothing, literally was ran out of the country.
Russia is going to end up annexing the parts of the Ukraine that they want. They have shown the ability to out produce all of NATO with regard to munitions and they have the manpower of battle field experienced personnel and doctrine of the new form of near pear warfare unlike NATO.

You are confused how a nation with a few provinces has been able to successfuly take on a country backed fully by NATO militarily with regard to access to armaments, intelligence, and money, while being largely internationally sanctioned and acheving its political objectives outright while the other nation is seeking a ceasefire and a truce. You don't understand how the nation that is acheiving its objectives is winning.

The US never militarily invaded Cuba. It supported a small coup force of native Cubans. JFK specifically refused to do targeted air strikes. Cuba today is so broke it can barely keep the lights on.

Russia has the GDP of Italy. Any best against NATO goes badly. As to why Russia didn’t do shyt when Sweden and Finland joined NATO even though NATO expansion to its borders were supposedly why it invaded Ukraine in the first place.
