There's a person in charge now who won't do any of that. He's going to cut taxes on people already making a shyt ton of money, he wont cut taxes on people making below the national average. He will contribute to infant mortality and reduced life expectancy by not financially supporting states that want to experiment with a public option. He won't forgive student loans. He wont fund education to make american students more competitivd. He won't assume credit card debts for households. He won't give home buyers a tax credit. He won't say shyt about price gouging and instead will encourage it with those tariffs.

A lot of people are going to die meaningless, preventable deaths and American products will continue to go up in price as they fall in quality because these companies dont care about that shyt, only creating shareholder value by manipulating the stock's value. The average age of a worker will increase because people will continue to have less or no children, the average cost of medicine will increase because of the chronic health problems older workers will have. Hospitals will get backed up with aging gen X and boomers having heart attacks, diabetic shock, and strokes. Gen Z suicides will continue to increase because there won't be public funding for mental health programs. Scams will explode in popularity as more unemployed people get desperate. What little money these boomers and gen x do have will be sucked out by various scams.

All the while there will be people ready to keep voting red in local elections. All of America will become like the south. Continuing to vote for the people who ruin their lives because they're dumb enough to be easily fooled and distracted.

Former White House adviser and white nationalist Stephen Miller plans to reinterpret civil rights laws should Trump return to power.

The anti-immigration extremist, white nationalist and former Trump White House adviser Stephen Miller is helping drive a plan to tackle supposed “anti-white racism” if Donald Trump returns to power next year, Axios reported.

“Longtime aides and allies … have been laying legal groundwork with a flurry of lawsuits and legal complaints – some of which have been successful,” Axios said on Monday.

Should Trump return to power, Axios said, Miller and other aides plan to “dramatically change the government’s interpretation of civil rights-era laws to focus on ‘anti-white racism’ rather than discrimination against Black people (I changed this from POC to specifically describe their real target)”.

Such an effort would involve “eliminating or upending” programmes meant to counter racism against non-white groups.

The US supreme court, dominated 6-3 by rightwing justices after Trump installed three, recently boosted such efforts by ruling against race-based affirmative action in college admissions.

America First Legal, a group founded by Miller and described by him as the right’s “long-awaited answer” to the American Civil Liberties Union, is helping drive plans for a second Trump term, Axios said.

In 2021, an AFL suit blocked implementation of a $29bn Covid-era Small Business Administration programme that prioritised helping restaurants owned by women, veterans and people from socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Miller called that ruling “the first, but crucial, step towards ending government-sponsored racial discrimination”.

Recent AFL lawsuits include one against CBS and Paramount alleging discrimination against a white, straight man who wrote for the show Seal Team, and a civil rights complaint against the NFL over the “Rooney Rule”, which says at least two minority candidates must be interviewed for vacant top positions.

Reports of extremist groups planning for a second Trump presidency are common, not least around Project 2025, a blueprint for transition and legislative priorities prepared by the Heritage Foundation, a hard-right Washington thinktank.

Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung, told Axios: “As President Trump has said, all staff, offices, and initiatives connected to [Joe] Biden’s un-American policy will be immediately terminated.”

If Donald Trump returns to the White House, close allies want to dramatically change the government's interpretation of Civil Rights-era laws to focus on "anti-white racism" rather than discrimination against Black people.

Why it matters: Trump's Justice Department would push to eliminate or upend programs in government and corporate America that are designed to counter racism that has favored whites.

Targets would range from decades-old policies aimed at giving minorities economic opportunities, to more recent programs that began in response to the pandemic and the killing of George Floyd.

Driving the news: Longtime aides and allies preparing for a potential second Trump administration have been laying legal groundwork with a flurry of lawsuits and legal complaints — some of which have been successful.

A central vehicle for the effort has been America First Legal, founded by former Trump aide Stephen Miller, who has called the group conservatives' "long-awaited answer to the ACLU."

America First cited the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in February in a lawsuit against CBS and Paramount Global for what the group argued was discrimination against a white, straight man who was a writer for the show "Seal Team" in 2017.

In February, the group filed a civil rights complaint against the NFL over its "Rooney Rule."

The rule — named for Dan Rooney, late owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers — was instituted in 2003 and expanded in 2022. It requires NFL teams to interview at least two minority candidates for vacant general manager, head coach and coordinator positions.

American First argued that "given the limited time frame to hire executives and coaches after the season, this results in fewer opportunities for similarly situated, well-qualified candidates who are not minorities."

In 2021, Miller's group successfully sued to block the implementation of a $29 billion pandemic-era program for women- and minority-owned restaurants, saying it discriminated against white-owned businesses.

"This ruling is the first, but crucial, step towards ending government-sponsored racial discrimination," Miller said then.

Zoom in: Other Trump-aligned groups are preparing for a future Trump Justice Department to implement — or challenge — policies on a broader scale.

The Heritage Foundation's well-funded "Project 2025" envisions a second Trump administration ending what it calls "affirmative discrimination."

Part of the plan, written by former Trump Justice Department official Gene Hamilton, argues that "advancing the interests of certain segments of American society ... comes at the expense of other Americans — and in nearly all cases violates longstanding federal law."

That leaves millions of Mexicans coming back into the country, ready to work in the growing number of factories, and having enough money to buy a Chinese car, cheap Chinese products from online Chinese retailers, and more money exporting the goods made in Mexico to the rest of Latin America and to Africa.

If he destroys the budget, there won't be money to pay for his gestapo, response to natural disasters and health epidemic AND to keep funding Israel. Israel is gonna have to hold its own nuts and with Europeans realizing that they can't trust America and have to beef up their own military since America wants to cut back or leave nato entirely, they won't have the money to spare either.

This means the most aggressive actor in that region might finally be contained and if China and other countries grow in economic strength and more of the sanctioned countries like Cuba start benefiting from trade with each other and the growing number of neutral countries that don't want to be tied closely to anyone, you might actually start seeing sanctions that hurt Israel and force it to be accountable to the international concensus around their brutal genocide.

European countries and Asian countries will reap the benefits of their investment in renewable energy, and they'll make breakthroughs in technology and medicine as they take in the American doctors and university grads who don't want to live around morons and racists who are dragging everyone down with them.

When America eventually falls into a slump, the international community will offer it a bail out so long as it commits to actual democracy and reforms it's government to be more democratic, and uses the funds and support they're given to restore the departments that were ruined under Trump and his loyalists. America will get a fresh start, and will get a chance to actually become the country that it could be.
