I understand that, but let us take a look at our context here:
1. The average person has less than 1k in savings and has over 50k in debt.
2. The average wage is less than 60k a year.
3. Layoffs have increased and unemployment numbers aren't counting the people who have given up on work or are precariously employed.
4. Companies always increase prices in reaction to tariffs. If prices are high now, that shyt is about to get higher.
5. Companies do not want to increase wages if they're publicly traded or want to become public. Once a company goes public, they aren't accountable to customers and workers, they're accountable to investors and management. Managers want more money than ever. People are surviving off debt. If they can't borrow more money and their credit is fukked, what are they expected to do?
If you're going to create a gestapo, you are going to need to pay them more money than they'd make working in the gig economy, and expect them to keep doing *something* after you've deported or killed the people you've hired them for.
You'll need to build concentration camps. That's government spending. You'll need to kit out your gestapo, that's government spending. You're going to need to offer them pensions. That's government spending.
So you'll have INCREASED government spending while LOSING tax revenue from the immigrants who were working but have now been forced out of employment. You're going to have to feed your prisoners in your camp. That's government spending.
This is also to say nothing of the amount of people who will be dying because of disease and natural disasters because he's going to cut funding to the agencies that manage these things while staffing them with absolute morons whose brains have been cooked by twitter.
His whole thing is he wants to cut costs, how will spending more money on law enforcement, camps, lawsuits and corpse disposal solutions contribute to that? He will also be expected to keep feeding the military industrial complex and a war hungry Israel. That's government spending. Where is that money going to come from if he promises to not increase taxes on the wealthy? The tariffs will raise prices which will force people to gain EVEN MORE debt to stay afloat. But if they're not making minimum payments because private companies are pivoting to automation and trying to hire less people in general, what is the plan?
He's doing the typical republican shyt: cut taxes for the rich, INCREASE government spending on things that aren't education, healthcare, or infrastructure(the ACTUAL wealth of the country, it's productive capacity).
Except here's the thing: normally after a republican fukks up the economy he leaves and a Democrat gets the blame. But he wants to put a stop to that. He doesn't want to have an election in 2028, so if he stays in power, HE will be the one to blame for the absurd government debt and loss in productive capacity in this country.
Germany's solution was to use slave labor and to take over other countries. How's he going to do that? Will he try to annex canada? Which is a nato country and will literally trigger ww3? Will he try to annex Mexico even though he's sending people TO Mexico?
He doesn't know because he doesn't have plans. He's an idiot that posts all day and watches entertainment masquerading as news.
