The origin of Peter Parker parents dying seemed so corny and over the top.
The storyline involving the villains were much better than the prior 3 Spider-Man.
Garfield is a good actor, I just felt he made Peter Parker have too much swag. Dude was a hipster skateboarding tongue in Gwen's mouth in front of everyone at graduation
The whole point of Peter Parker is to be an antithesis of Batman personality wise (soft spoken, shy and intimidated by everyone and everything before and also even after the spider bite.
If you are just talking Spider-Man as a hero himself, he was about on par with Toby McGuire
