Like I and many others said,

:hubie:

Bottom 5 situation in the NBA right now in terms of long term future, it will take a miracle to get out of this hole

Lol people on here were laughing when I said they should flip Beal for Ben Simmons. That’s the only path it seems for them to get draft capital.

Who's getting draft capital in that deal?
Cause no team is trading picks for Bradley Beal at this stage of his career
Even if it is for a loser like Simmons

Not at all. Simmons comes off the books after next season

Beal has 3 years left on his deal. Suns will need to attach draft capital to get someone else to take his deal and they don’t have any. Not to mention he has a NTC

What's incredible is the Wizards didn't give up any draft capital in offloading the contract.

Michael Winger and Will Dawkins already ahead of the last 20 years of Ernie Grunfeld and Tommy Sheppard...

Unfortunately he immediately choked by taking on Jordan Poole's contract which is the second worst in the league 😭
In hindsight, yes. Perhaps retaining CP3's expiring would have been more valuable. At the same time, Poole is 24 years old, has talent, and it was a reasonable gamble to flip CP3 to GSW for him... and to take flyers on Baldwin and Rollins. Too bad Rollins decided to shop lift from CVS while making $1.5M..

Wizards should have kept Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Was it Tommy or Ted that gave Beal that contract WITH the no-trade clause?

Both. But Ted is the boss. Listen at 16:50 from this question from Ava Wallace and Ted's response on the no-trade clause :laff:

So far, he is letting Winger run all basketball operations as President and staying sort of out of the way. Dawkins runs the Wizards day-to-day as GM.

One of the worst trades in recent years.

Gave away all those assets for the ultimate street clothes.
Old Chris Paul right now is doing more than Bradley Beal.

Yeah I was surprised the Wiz were able to get off that Beal contract without taking on another bad long term contract.

The wizards front office has as plan to do it OKC style. And trading Deni away showed me they are tanking one more year in hopes of landing cooper flag.

This year is a player is playing good, the coach takes them out. Routinely does this. Keyshawn George makes Kuzma unnecessary on this team and we'll flip him for a first if not two.

Why? He can get 20 a night if asked and his contract is so team friendly that teams will pay for that flexibility. Daniel Gafford got us a first, kuz will do similar come trade deadline

Next year the Wizkids will be a problem. I love the new pieces. Need a real coach next year Ava we'll be straight

Dawkins and Winger are competent

WHAT ASSETS?

THEY GOT A BUNCH OF
SECOND ROUND PICKS
AND A BUNCH OF 1ST RD SWAPS
THAT THEY MAY NEVER USE
BECAUSE THE SUNS WILL HAVE
A BETTER RECORD THAN THEM
FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE

Corey excels at doing everything Bradley Beal did for us :yeshrug:

Corey will never get the minutes he deserves here because this team doesn't want him to be the consistent option if that makes sense.

I don't see a rhyme or reason to anybody's minute/rotations and I predicted we'd tank so that's the only reason that makes sense as for why we doing what we doing

I'd gladly take a big Corey to go with little Corey
(Pause x2 :whoa: )
