the Lakers should 100% be all over this, you have a 38 year old Bron still playing at an elite level, with AD locked in too, wtf are they worried about some picks down the line. they can just wipe their books by then and sign high level FAs since they are the fukking Lakers
How would the Nets benefit from a trade with the Lakers though?
Russ adds nothing. Picks 5 years down the line add nothing

If they trade Kyrie they need to at least get a near all star level player back and not a washed one like Russ otherwise they're punting on this season which makes no sense they were a top team when KD was healthy

They don't have the upper hand cause the Nets are not forced to trade him lol
They already went through this in the offseason
Kyrie tried to bluff, they called and he wound up picking up his option

They can just keep him and ride out the season.

a businessman will want something back...

if they get even 1 first round.. its better than 0
