It would be understandable if they got Dimwiddie and Dorian finney smith with a bunch of draft picks

But they didn't even get that much draft picks either

I guess Kyrie isn't as valuable because he's an expiring? But I guess they're banking on the Mavs being terrible in 6 years, whereas the Suns have multiple young guys who could keep them in the playoffs for years

If your the warriors, do you give up poole and a piece and picks for KD? This particular season is a wash, but the next season you could go all in for a final chip run.

There's no reason to hold onto poole because he's going to want out after steph and klay wash up and retire. He's not really the future
