Brooklyn ownership is the problem

I hate owners who are also owners or part owners in other sports for other franchises and those franchises as well been stagnant and they just want to say they have a franchise

Just trade Durant and work on drafting players and going from there

Durant will be playing 44 minutes a night, taking 40 shots, complaining, upset , mad about the team misdirection

KD had it right the first time asking for a trade because he saw the writing on the wall the first time asking for a trade.. The Nets should’ve gotten the best package possible for KD from the situation and then during the season actively looked to move Kyrie because he would have zero leverage.. So the nets would’ve had a quick turn around.. Then they could try and move Simmons and his bum ass contract in the off season..

The Nets are beyond fukked because KD is either out of there by the 9th or in the summer.. Dude is not staying and then the Nets going to have a tough time moving Simmons..

All time failure by the Nets lmaoo
They were literally the 2 seed before KD got hurt and offered Kyrie more money than anyone. This nikka wanted them to offer him a deal no one in the market offered last summer include the Lakers. What the Nets logically bet on was that Kyrie would behave for a year so that someone would pay him this off-season. He and his family blew that up mid season because he thought unlike every other player in history with availability issues he should get all his money regardless. His trump card was KD and he thought he could behave however because of KD. Once ownership showed a willingness to trade KD, he had no leverage. Now he’s traded to a Mavericks team with no guarantee of an extension after the season and the most they can offer is 2 years 80 million. No Kyrie and his stepmother fukked this up. The worst thing that happened to him was firing Roc Nation because they tried to be real with him on shyt.

Kyrie seems like a decent person to deal with one on one as players but he lacks self-awareness. Ask yourself, if that was Steph Curry would this be an issue in paying him or trading everything for him? Jokic? Embiid? Tatum? Mitchell? Brown? Why is this guy the one superstar that people aren’t backing up the brinks truck for? Because he played 50 percent of his games the last 4 years and people feel like you pay him and he will act a fool.

High key I think the Mavs aren't done. I see them making a move for another big name player and they have the pieces for it. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Siakam.

He's an all-nba player, there is no precedent for a player of his caliber taking less. That's just it. He isn't going to accept less because an internet poster thinks he should.

Since phoenix tried to trade Chris and that team is imploding, do you think its possible that phoenix and the Lakers do this swap?

I think both teams benefit in some aspects.

Phoenix gets rid of Chris and his salary along with Crowder who is doing nothing.

Lakers get off of Russ and all a real PG to run an offense and give bron some rest.

Russ would mame ayton's life easier and booker wouldnt be the worse fit because hes such a great shooter and Ayton should benefit as well

brooklyn really doesn't want to win
If I'm durant i'd be livid knowing I would have had a chris paul and jae crowder and instead get a dinwiddie and dorian finney smith

It would be understandable if they got Dimwiddie and Dorian finney smith with a bunch of draft picks

But they didn't even get that much draft picks either :patrice:
