The Lakers offered the Nets a package of Westbrook and two first-round picks in 2027 and 2029.. the Nets informed the Lakers that.. to get in the Irving sweepstakes they would require all of their young players such as Austin Reaves and Max Christie and pick swaps

Teams will trade for garbage but ask Lakers to pay for mortgage cmon son :stopitslime:
What mortgage you paying with Austin Reaves and Max Christie :mjlol:Laker fans a little out of touch with their trade asset value

The Mavs pick is 6 years down the road as well. That extra pick from the Lakers is worth more than wherever Spencer Dinwiddie is taking you this year.

When they trade KD their best bet would have been more picks to align with that 2027-2029 time frame. That way you can set your future quickly.

The last thing any NBA team wants to be is “competitive” with absolutely no chance to actually win.
Spencer Dinwiddie and DFS combined are good enough to trade for a first round pick in THIS years draft if they want to pivot …nikkas overeating a Lakers pick that’s 4 years down the road when LA will likely have bought another star by then

It wasn't his team. Even draymond said that they didn't need him. He wanted to be a bus driver & I can't fault him for that. If he had gotten behind the three point line, everything in Brooklyn could have gone differently.

I saw so many games where he and Steph would defer to each other when one was hot. And we all remember when KD pulled up on Bron and hit that 3......

and yes, had his foot been behind the line I think BK wins the title.

I think this year is the best chance for either Boston or my guys in Denver to get a ring.

KD leaving the warriors was an all time worst decision move for a professional athlete of his caliber

He completely wasted the back end of his prime. sad to see

Same shyt with Kobe/Shaq. Yea they could have won a lot too but people would look at Kobe as a sidekick like Pippen. Same with KD/Curry…
