you think cuban is just handing kyrie to the lakers? lmao, they have leverage including his bird rights. as ive continued on saying, lakers have no ammo for a trade, kyrie has to take the minimum to get on the lakers, will he? i doubt it
You gotta remember Russ is expiring and the Lakers have a max slot coming up. If they don’t resign Rui or the other guys expiring.

And with the salary cap projected to be approximately $134 million for the summer of 2023, per the cap tracking website Spotrac, the Lakers are currently projected to have approximately $34-35 million in cap space during this offseason's free agency period.

It’s a gamble by the Mavs but they got Kyrie’s bird rights and can offer him the most money meaning they can give him that 4 year 198 million deal he wanted from the Nets. Lakers can’t give him that.

I’m not immediately sure kyrie is a better basketball player than Brunson with all things taken into account.

The real problem is we saw jaylen Brunson going off for 40 when Luka sits, then Luka comes back and Brunson looks like a JAG. The mavs have a Luka problem; he’s learned a ton of bad habits and it’s as if they just want to play triple double high usage harden ball. The foreshadowing was when they traded Dennis smith Jr in his second year to make more room for Luka to ball hog. Yea he’s been a bust but he was decent at the time.

Maybe this is a sign they will change that.

Lakers 27 and 29 first round picks are more valuable than the Mavs 29 first round pick because of how old Lebron is, how young Luka is and how injury prone AD is that’s why the Lakers would’ve easily beat the Mavs offer.
You have no idea what the value of any of those picks will be especially considering the lakers are a star chasing franchise not a tanking franchise …they historically don’t just sit in their hands being bad for years so mentioning LeBrons age is irrelevant.. history says they’re more likely get a new star by then over being in the top five of the lottery

The Nets could probably flip those picks into something better than Dinwiddle and DFS.
Like who? And if that’s the case why haven’t the lakers been able to do so themselves :mjlol:

The bullshyt. The NBA being the NBA. I know you nikkas don't know, so I don't even know why I bothered. I just hate when the NBA scripts this shyt and I saw the signs weeks ago but ignored it. I am always right about this league. It always does shyt by the numbers

If I was LA I would've sent both of the firsts fukk it :manny:
Does the meager return for Kyrie mean pick inflation is over in the NBA? Or was the market so small for Kyrie that BK genuinely couldn't do better?

Uncertain grounds
Wow, don’t know how this gonna work.

Luka needs the ball like the whole game.

Kyrie ain’t gone be lukas spot up shooter.

And Lukas whiney ass ain’t gone want to accommodate Kyries fukkery.

If anything the Kyrie fukkery train continues :ohlawd:

Worked fine in Cleveland with bron and kyrie
Luka was fine with dinwiddie and brunson handling

I dont see a schematic issue arising.
