noone should be thinking "i need to leave America" if you are a natural born citizen thats the complete wrong idea

the problem with folks saying "I wouldnt want to be served by someone if they dislike me" is when you are in public you should not feel that you can not do business. Every person in the public setting should be free to do business with whomever they like

now what you do in your private spaces/residence should be legally protected, and so should your literal speech. But construing free speech to include goods and services is the bad precedent. There were no laws saying people couldnt say XYZ, rather there are libel and slander laws for those cases.

folks saying they would not want to make something that is for a homosexual can easily be said for any other group. If anything it is on the BUSINESS owner to declare what they will and wont do BEFORE they get asked. Such that when a customer freely enters their place of business or website it is clear what that business owner will and wont do. So its no longer a case of I have a preference for such and such person in that very moment becomes I only perform such and such services (like how a restaurant has a menu)

What’s the definition of a “religion” though? I mean, anyone can create a religion. For example someone can create a religion which it is against their beliefs to serve a member of the military, or someone of a certain skin tone…

And you can’t, due to separation of church and state, state that one religion is invalid while others are valid.

This will actually be huge deal for south Asians . California passed a local bill last year denying discrimination based on Caste, but this new ruling means dark skinned untouchables will be getting the treatment legally because their religion specifically singles ethnic groups out for being denied services and mistreated.
