That's what they're trying to protect most of all - the lifestyle for themselves.

They'll rack up the bill, drive up spending, etc. to live in luxury for themselves and their closest.
Then when people wonder why their taxes are so high/money doesn't go as far they'll blame colored folks, immigrants and women to get votes.
