Beli is more suited for this than Saban.
NIL culture is NFL culture.

He can deal with that and not have a problem with it.
He's just old and doesn't have a lot of time.
Exactly.

The NIL is probably easier for him to deal with than the NFL salary cap was/is. The NIL is essentially an uncapped situation as long as he can convince donors to give OR companies to provide deals he's straight. I think he'll be better equipped to handle those conversations than any other coach in college.

Last winning season he had was 3 going on 4 years ago, kids these days don’t have reverence for legends anymore. I’m confident, that the avg 17 yo blue chip player cares the most about getting paid and getting to the league.

I think it's different when it comes to football and the greatest coach in NFL history going to a college program.

EVERY single recruit knows who Belichick is, and top recruits know that he carries such cache and has more connections than anyone to the NFL. Their chances of being drafted or signed as an undrafted free-agent will be higher than with other programs. And, he'll probably be able to get a lot of players that might not be five start recruits, but players with a lot of talent that know BeliGOAT will be able to coach them up and give them the best chance to make it to the NFL.

I think NIL changes a lot of things. I think it would have been more difficult years ago, but I think this has the potential to work out very well for him.

I don't watch nearly as much college football as many here, but I know he'll put together a great staff.

I think you'll see some veteran coaches, but I also think that you will see some younger recently retired players going to coach there, knowing Belichick will increase their chances of getting a head coaching job in college or a great job in the NFL.

I'm surprised ALABAMA didn't offer him a deal? Those boosters would definitely fire Deboer to get Belichick.
