This is what I was saying previously about NFL coaching jobs and prime CFB coaching jobs becoming less and less distinguishable..... The money is getting closer the precieved "prestige" gap is closing.....you have what many consider the GOAT NFL Coach taking a fukking ACC football job....all that leaping to the pros shyt feels completely passé in the modern era

He will definitely get respect, kids will want to play for possibly the goat NFL coach. You'll be pro ready thats for damn sure.

Anyone that's a 3* and up with ANY kind of NFL potential (size, speed etc) is gonna jump at the chance to be coached by BB.

Even if the kids don't, their parents/H.S. coaches will. He will need a team to help with recruiting, NIL etc....but his X's and O's are on a whole different level.

However.........I think Belichick would be better at a school like Stanford, working with Andrew Luck.

BB loves smart players. Parcells/BB used to talk about how LT wouldn't pay attention in meetings but if they threw some random questions at him when he was napping, he'd go up to the board and tell you what every player on offense AND defense was supposed to be doing on that play...and then would fall back asleep. He won't get to spend as much time with the players like in the NFL, so he needs guys that can learn quickly and apply it to the field.

Never thought this would happen, because college and the Belichick culture don't mix. Cant see super talented kids signing up for that type of structure. 3 years is a brief window. Dont see how he could coach up a bunch of three star, and some four star, kids to a championship that quickly. He will have to prove a lot of people wrong.

The talented defensive players will DEFINITELY sign up if they have legit NFL potential.

The overrated, just staying for NIL money-type players won't go and he wouldn't offer them anyway. Saban was HIS assistant. I don't think he has the smooth politician personality like Nick, but he's better at X's and O's. Big thing for him his staffing. Gotta get the right people in place to help him.
