They don't control their own picks for like 5 years
Their lucky the Rockets are dogshyt so those swaps might not mean anything but rebuilding very difficult when you can't even control your own picks
They just got 4 1st rounders. We can say "oh Phoenix will be too good for them to mean anything", CP3 is 38 and injury prone, KD 34 and injury prone, and experiments, like this one, have failed before. On top of a bunch of young players.

Forking over 200M to a 31 y/o injury-prone part-time player to satisfy a 34 y/o injury-prone superstar who doesn't want to lead and already asked for a way out isn't good sports business.

All he had to do was give Kai the extension. Kai would’ve been good, KD would’ve been good, and Nets could’ve made some noise in the playoffs.

But Tsai wanted to prove to Kai & everyone else that he's the boss. Well now he can be the boss of a 10th seeded team.
Completely right on what u said about the extension………..But the point of this nets experiment/circus was to win a chip, not just make noise in the playoffs.……might as well blow it up & start ANOTHER act in the circus that is the Brooklyn nets :manny:
