There never was a New York War. The war was between Boston and Brooklyn. The C's got those 3 unprotected picks from the Nets. They turned into Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Kyrie, who left FOR Brooklyn.
The Nets got James Larden and promptly took the C's out in the first round (sans Jaylen). They then proceeded to trade Harden for the basketball equivalent of an appendix and got eviscerated by a C's team with Jaylen, en route to the Finals, a round the Nets would never reach.
The Celts making the Finals before those dikkheads was the C's winning the war. This year, this bozo operation suspends Kyrie, trades him and Durant, and are left with Ben Simmons.
What's being committed here are war crimes of the highest order. Those picks in 27 and 29 could be great. shyt, they could Net their own Jaylen and Jayson. But, c'mon, you know that ain't happening with this loser franchise.
