Here's what's funny. You typed all this just to prove you know very little about surviving while black in this country. It's like moving to a place with West Nile and arguing when people tell you to handle that standing water. It would be cool if the mosquitoes were restricted to your yard, but they're not and we all have to deal with the consequences of your negligence.

Lacking political and economic power, we utilize various forms of social pressure/ public shaming. We may use the pulpit or the dozens ("comedy") to do so. We ostracize our c00ns loudly and in public so we all know who to avoid. Maybe it's not clear to you, but in a white country, c00ns can bring and have brought the death squads to our very doors.

Children raised in ADOS environments practice these forms of social control. Because your parents brought you to such an environment, you were effected. Because they didn't socialize with ADOS to the point of learning our culture (beyond collard greens and Marvin Gaye or whatever), they gave you no context. This is the information they neglected to gather for you.

I have two Nigerian parents but was born and raised in America. Because of this I move in both nigerian and black Americans societies comfortably. While I recognize this as a huge advantage, I've been able to make many observations. One thing I have seen is it while both groups have huge flaws,. there are amazing qualities and characteristics in both groups if you're willing to look.

I attended PVAMU and learned under some of the best and brightest ADOS scholars. I've also studied in Africa and worked with extremely bright. Nigerian intellects. There is amazing beauty in all black people. I choose to find the solid ones and build, while people like you look for negatives and divide.

We're simply not cut from the same cloth.
