sony owning Yugioh
It’s been about 2yrs and this breaking news still hasn’t broke yet. Oh well, back to playing abandoned while listening to detoxSony Looking to Buy Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania from Konami
Rumors about a Silent Hill reboot have been swirling about for weeks now, and a recent post on ***** has now thrown two additional Konami franchises into the mix.
In January, an anonymous ***** user claiming to be a Konami employee stated that Sony would like to purchase the Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Castlevania franchises in order to create a series of PS5 exclusive titles.

According to the post, Sony hopes to remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, the original games that launched the series over 20 years ago, with the help of Hideo Kojima.
The company also wants to soft reboot the Silent Hill series, possibly also with Kojima’s involvement. Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of both the Silent Hill and Siren series of survival horror games, and Ikumi Nakamura, the lead concept artist for Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2, would supposedly also be on the team.
For the Castlevania series, Sony apparently has a full reboot in mind, which it would accomplish with the collaboration of Koji Igarashi and Shutari Iida, two veteran developers who have worked on multiple games in the franchise. The reboot would be developed by Sony Japan and result in a 3D Bloodborne-style overhaul for the series.
Normally, posts on ***** need to be taken with a grain of salt. However, the information shared by the anonymous Konami employee meshes with information leaked or hinted at by other sources in the past few months. Back in November 2019, Hideo Kojima posted on Twitter: “As to make the scariest horror game, I’ll watch the scary movies in order to awaken my horror soul.” Due to Kojima’s past involvement with Silent Hills, the game starring Norman Reedus that was cancelled in 2015, many hopeful fans took this to be a hint that the game designer was again working on a horror title.
Also in January, Masahiro Ito, an artist who worked on the first four Silent Hill games, made his own cryptic Twitter post in which he stated, “I’m working on a title as a core member. I hope the title won’t be cancelled.” Many readers interpreted this to also be a reference to Silent Hills, and therefore a possible insinuation that Ito was again working on a game for the series.
More recently, online news outlet Rely on Horror introduced Sony into the story by reporting that the company is the driving force behind reviving the series and mending the rift between Konami and Kojima. According to the article, Sony will back the development of two Silent Hill titles, one a soft reboot and the other an episodic TellTale-type game, and Kojima would be at the helm with full creative freedom.
The question is WHY haven't microsoft done shyt like this...........
False. Apple never owned Bungie or the Halo IP. Halo was gonna be a mac exclusive in the same way Squaresofts FF7 was a Sony exclusive.they have.. its called Halo.. which they bought from Apple...
False. Apple never owned Bungie or the Halo IP. Halo was gonna be a mac exclusive in the same way Squaresofts FF7 was a Sony exclusive.
Bungie wanted to sell, apple turned them down, microsoft stepped in, durin the tail end of negotiations Jobs changed his mind but by then the ball was rollin on finalizing the Microsoft deal, Jobs got angry about it.
Jobs turned down Bungie... at first: how Microsoft burned Apple
You said Microsoft bought Halo from Apple. Apple never owned it or the IPs studio. Its okay to be wrong sometimes, we all are."Bungie had been a prominent game developer for the Mac platform"
Halo wasnt a game then, but Master Chief and the Halo lore were in Mac games
Your issue, because you are unaware, is you are probably googling key words "apple" you need to look up Macintosh
Nah man, people even buy fukking ports of games they already beat, I don't think a director's cut would be a blockbuster success but it would sell great, especially if they sell it as a current gen "remaster"Not in this regard. People buy remakes/remasters of games they never got to play or games that gave them their money's worth.
Im not sure what you are arguing here? Halo was originally supposed to be for Apple and then Microsoft bought Bungie out to make Halo exclusive to xbox. These are undeniable facts. You said Microsoft bought Halo from Apple. Apple never owned it or the IPs studio. Its okay to be wrong sometimes, we all are.
im well aware bungie made games for macs. Funny enough, Marathon 2 also came out on windows 2 months before the Mac version
Im not sure what you are arguing here? Halo was originally supposed to be for Apple and then Microsoft bought Bungie out to make Halo exclusive to xbox. These are undeniable facts.
Where did I ever say Apple owned Bungie? Apple would of had to approve the sale for Bungie to Microsoft for that to happen.
Mafukkas log into the coli and turn straight retarded.
they have.. its called Halo.. which they bought from Apple...
Halo was supposed to be for Apple.you said MS bought Halo, from Apple. Apple never owned the IP. heres your quote.
might wanna double check your quotes before calling people retarded.
This is correct. But i just wanted to clarify that MS never bought Halo from Apple, that would have required Apple owning the IP. and they were very against Halo being on the xbox. Bungie was still independent and had full ownership of Halo before the MS buyout.Halo was supposed to be for Apple.
microsoft bought bungie to make it exclusive to xbox.
Tomato, tomatoe
The question is WHY haven't microsoft done shyt like this...........
