:francis: If we’re being honest he’s not a good coach. The only reason he has a winning record is because of Ray Rice. He literally ran ray rice to the ground to get his record.

The talent in Jersey is there but it feels like Ohio State and Penn State have that locked up. Depending on what Michigan does with Jim Michigan is also a Jersey threat.

New Brunswick, NJ :hula: Philadelphia, PA

It ain't no showstoppin bytches in serious supply attending Rutgers or Temple but at least one of these schools has immediate access to a major metropolitan area.
You've clearly never been to a party at rutgers. The best NJ players leave the state cause SEC schools pay their recruits. I personally know 5 people that received bags to go to certain schools. I have a homie who would receive $100 handshakes from boosters after having a good game. Rutgers doesn't pay to get recruits. Which is why what Schiano did was all the more impressive. The year BJ Raji came out, i think like 13 1st round picks were from Jersey. Jersey puts out talent but they all leave the state if the bags big enough

I can’t say enough about NJ talent. I live five minutes from Bergen Catholic and my son plays in the Meadowlands league here. Along with me personally coaching my lil man up, these dudes have practice four days week, Fridays being film study, starting at age 8. When my son’s team went to the ship last month, cheerleaders put custom made signs on each players door and a friggen firetruck led a town entourage to the game to Rutherford. Friggen Bergen Catholic already has recruiters watching our league. :heh:

I havent seen a football town like this since living in OK and Texas. Football is a religion in NJ. Talent is out of control here. Rutgers has to find a way to harness it.
