They should've hired Ohio st DC Jeff Hafley. He from NJ and one of the best recruiters in the nation. He would've kept alot of Jersey best players at home and they would've ended up legit. Schiano gon get trashed in the B10

He was the best thing that ever happened to Rutgers. Sometimes you don't know what you have till it's gone.

Bengals need to go ahead and hire Marvin Lewis. They would be 7-4 right now instead of 0-11
Keep selling this fantasy about the Bengals having 7 wins instead of 0. fukk logic is that?

The Rutgers issue is that they don't necessarily have interest in being a great sports program and the B1G would LOVE it if they were because they think if Rutgers is good, then the tri-state area will care.

1. that doesn't mean anything. The Jets for the last 20 years when they hired a first year coach always had a winning season. Streaks end.

2. Clearly the Bengals would like their ceiling to be something better than a wild card berth and a playoff loss. If that's all you think you can be as a franchise, you ain't shyt and you shouldn't waste people's time. Fans wanna win. 7-4 right now is a playoff lock in the AFC. The Bengals are not good and if a HC can singlehandedly get you 7 extra wins by existing, he wouldn't be unemployed.

Really wish they hired a minority. Rutgers will continue to be a doormat in the B1G. Shouldve never been part of the conference to begin with.

Temple got like 23 players in the nfl and atleast half of em are from Jersey. It's the same region, same exposure, and etc. Rutgers struggle keeping Jersey talent bc they always got a trash coach who dont win

New Brunswick, NJ :hula: Philadelphia, PA

It ain't no showstoppin bytches in serious supply attending Rutgers or Temple but at least one of these schools has immediate access to a major metropolitan area.

wasnt 1 of the things holding this deal up was them not trying to be a football power and give dude money for facilities and asst. coaches

that alone will answer the question about why rutgers is what they are

Being a DC at O$U >>>>> HC at Rutgers. If he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’ll get better offers than Rutgers

This idea that certain teams should settle for mediocrity among sports fans is laughable
