bruh...I was on the fence about recently getting it just to have a steady stream for these last few reg. season games + the playoffs...I felt the playoffs alone would’ve been worth it...glad I didn’t pull the trigger...are they offering y’all any kind of partial refund...or it is it part of the “read the small print” shyt where they’re not responsible for shyt like this?

The NBA should just jump into the playoffs with the current top 8 teams in both conferences and just scrap the rest of the regular season, because they'll be running into the Draft, Olympics, free agency, summer league, the training camp period and the start of next season.

Not to mention the TV scheduling is all screwed up.

The regular season is over. Adam Silver and the owners should stop beating around the bush and just be straightforward that the regular season is over...just treat it like a shortened lockout season and move forward.

I'd say, have the best 8 teams period (4 teams in each conference) determine the champion whenever they come back.

OR

Have best 2 or 3 series' for the 1st few rounds and have the NBA Finals be best 3 out of 5

They just need to go ahead and cancel the rest of the season. It sucks for those contending teams, but we're in the middle of a pandemic and sports are the least of most people's worries right now.

Would be very stupid to do it now, we haven't gotten the worst of this virus. If this does slow down like it has in China or South Korea, players can do it then. NBA and US are hoping for a July/August date. There is zero reason to do this so early on.

I think this 30 day halt is to give players time to eventually get tested and make sure they dont have the virus. I wont be shocked if in early may we see basketball return but without the fans. But this is all assuming no one else gets tested positive and the spread of the virus calms down, and every team agrees to have it continue.

But one major issue they gonna face is what will happen if they continue then someone ends up getting tested positive?

What will happen if the us closes its borders to canada or vice versa

Play in a medium sized arena
Schedule picks up where it left off
Play every other day for the rest of the season since no travel is needed.
Broadcast the games and you would get huge ratings

ya'll know how many players there are? They still exposing themselves to a couple dozen people every game. They were talking about just being around more than 10 at a time significantly increases the risk of exposure.
