Beal really does hold all the cards bc Miami doesn’t have a problem sending him to the suns. They just don’t want Beal in return. He’s going to have to pick a team if this trade goes down

Otherwise Jimmy will probably opt in with Miami and raise as much hell as he can. It’s a sad way for him to end his career
beal can't even pick a team because most teams cannot take on that salary.

Detroit could but its likely hard pass unless they add picks to it.

WHY WOULD MIAMI
WANT A PACKAGE OF
KENNARD, KONCHAR, SMART
AND CLARKE?

ADD THE FACT ONLY 1
COMES OFF THE BOOKS
THIS OFF SEASON.

Because Memphis could throw more picks in the deal than other contenders would. Not to mention they could offer less long term money than other contenders would unless you’d rather them take on someone like Beal instead?

I mean they don’t really have the leverage like that to ask for a boatload in return for what’s essentially an expiring.

Jimmy Butler agent is sabotaging Miami trade

He is an aging star player. They generally like to go to teams with other aging stars. So they can all be old together and not win shyt.
Why play with Ja, when he can join Lebron or Kawhi or some random bad fit like that

If that was his plan, then he should have traded Jimmy in the offseason when he could have gotten more competitive pieces in return for him.

I don't think he knows what he's doing at this point if we're being honest.

HE DIDN'T TRADE HIM
BECAUSE HE WANTED TO STAY COMPETITIVE.

REMEMBER LAST WEEK HE SAID
HES NOT TRADING HIM
UNTIL JIMMY PUBLICLY FORCED
HIS HAND

Which is all fine, but I ask again, what did he expect to eventually happen with sending Jimmy back out there with no contract extension and no plans on doing so?

THERES BEEN A LOT

ABOUT THE HEAT BEING A 2ND APRON TEAM BUT I JUST LOOKED

How ugly can this situation get? Players Association is going to appeal this suspension right?
