he ain't shyt. Zack Wilson was actually benched last year and it meant nothing. This year, he wasn't the starting QB for the Jets for a grand total of 4 snaps. Humbled?

Too many contingency plans that still don't lead them anywhere. Whatever hopes Jets fans had at the very least have to be greatly reduced and that alone makes this a lost season in some respects.

I would definitely try to get Jacoby. He's always solid in the locker room and won't turn it over. Only problem is Washington won't have a viable backup but if Howell gets hurts they can tank.

Of the free agents I'd go with Foles then McCoy.

Maybe call the Colts for Minshew since they're all in on AR and will be in tank mode if he goes down.

I think an option they should explore, if it's even possible, is calling Dallas for Trey Lance. If Dak gets hurt Cooper is starting so Lance isn't likely to see the field as a third stringer. Jets get him he has weeks to get up to speed and if he plays and looks good they're set long term. Bringing in a free agent means they're going to have to start over next year.

Most likely thing is them brining Flacco back or signing Wentz.
