With the Warriors, Wiggins would have to be involved but he makes 26m annually that runs past the 25-26 season

Wiggins
Looney
Dennis

For Jimmy works.

Memphis is a lot easier.

Smart
Clarke (3 years like Wiggins
Kennard
Konshar

The question for Miami is do you want draft compensation for taking a 3 year deal. If so, would you rather have Wiggins at 26m per or a Clarke at 12m per plus a player like GG Jackson

Miami could also move either Wiggins or Clarke to a third team like Milwaukee or Toronto. It gets weird. Bucks still have to move Pat first
That Warriors trade is...

From Atlanta to San Fran to LA 4now
Pat Riley different i can see him getting sat down the rest of the season out of spite. How can you move 50mill with a player option next year for a 35 year old often injured player. What team thats actually contending is looking to move that type of money for him since he got that player option he can decide he dont want to go to a bad team. :francis:

Part of why Jimmy's still there is because everyone else knows that, and that's before you worry about how many regular season games he'll actually play, so they can deal him if they want, but at $48 mil a year and a new era where trading is a lot harder, we have this. Jimmy would be in Phoenix right now if there wasn't so much shyt holding up a transaction.
Is Jimmy being there for the rest of this year and maybe all next season tenable?

The Clippers have proven that if your star player walks for nothing, your team doesn't automatically die; you just better have a plan in place. The threat of Jimmy walking away is not as bad as the threat of him opting in.

The last question has a very easy answer:

When Jimmy has been a dikk, nobody blamed Jimmy. People blamed the franchises he was on. Miami unlike the other teams he was on had a lot of built in goodwill for many many reasons.
Wasn’t that kind of a perfect storm though considering it was a win-win for all parties involved when Kawhi dipped out and how they had ample amount of cap space due to not re-signing Harden at the time as well?
