How do y'all know OG is gone?
Cause they play the same position?
I guess you can have multiple wings but OG is looking for a massive payday
Bridges can get back to playing that role he excels at a much cheaper price
He's under $25mil/year for 2 more years, which is why the cost was so high in terms of picks
That is DIRT cheap for someone that can be an elite 3&D wing

Is he a proven player though worth giving up that much for though especially since he didn’t make the leap like people thought he would.
What is that much though ? He’s proven to be a high level 3 and D guy in Phoenix ,went to BK showed that he had a little more game but also showed he’s not a #1 ..In NY as a third option he’s elite .

If a late 20s first is Marcus Sasser that’s a hit ….Marcus Sasser ain’t moving the needle . The likeliest outcome is that Mikal is far better than any of those draft picks they gave up and now they have a legit shot to compete in the East

We literally just saw one of those picks end up becoming the 3rd pick in the draft and another become a lottery pick a few years ago with Orlando.
Tatum and Brown literally came from draft picks that weren't originally expected to be that good.

Injuries happen and teams struggle making some picks more valuable years down the road more than they seem at the time.

Not to mention, you need all the picks you can get with this new CBA and increase in contracts.
