Companies always hire the best qualified it’s not in their best interest to do otherwise, but with DEI at least they consider more than straight white men for the job.

Lol. Companies/Corporations/people hire likeable/family/friends that can get it done without being elite... and racism/bias/nepo clouds the judgement.


McDonald's franchise owners not hiring the John Henry of burger flipping over people they know that need a job that does it slower, but still gets it done. John Henry not getting hired at Mickey D's over franchise owners kid's friends that needs a job.

People don't always hire the best unless the situation is bad...they usually hire people to have a beer with and that can get it reasonably done.
