I was just saying this. The whole idea of white supremacy can only exist if the subjected groups actually believe white people are superior, and media propaganda fed to us since childhood is the main tool to reinforce that idea.

I remember when my son used to live with his mother and he was on a steady diet of Nickelodeon and Disney channel, he used to draw pics of himself with blonde hair, and any video game he where he could create himself, it was always straight hair. That's when I decided to cancel cable. TV and the music they push to us is pure poison.

Yooo, just the other day my son asked me if I was going to the movies to see hidden figures, and I told him I would probably just wait til its out on DVD. So he asked me why, and I had to explain to him, I'm sick of movies about bad times in history for black people. Almost every major black movie is jim crow civil rights era, slavery, or some type of crime movie. Or something aimed squarely at women. We either have to be destructive or working to prove our usefulness and worth to a white society.

White kids can go to the movies and imagine themselves as space travelers, wizards, a list superheroes, super geniuses, bad ass action stars, etc. For black kids the only positive images they see are side kicks or a black man trying to woo a woman. There's no black James bond, no black Luke Skywalker, no harry potter.

He didn't believe me, so the next time we went to my mothers house I pulled up the black cinema section on xfinity. It was all comedies, civil rights movies, slave flicks, and romantic comedies. To be fair there were some films like the last boy scout and some independent films that looked cool, but no feature films past the early 90s that weren't I'm the aforementioned categories.

Good that you recognized how the media propaganda was effecting your son. Be very glad you caught that early breh. I was was n my early 20's when I realized TV was full of shyt and in my 30's when I realized the news is full of shyt.

Was just about to comment on these record label shows as well or that video where Desiigner is up in front of Anna Wintour and some fashion people dressed up and basically tap dancing. Very uncomfortable.

no, do you know how much money the black race has in this country? my question was, how come in all this time, if white media is so destructive, there hasn't been someone or a group of people who have put on something besides BET, something that shows positive black images. is it bc they can't get the money or bc black people won't watch it or what. it cannot be that black people will just not watch positivity, shyt like Cosby Show, Fresh Prince, etc were some of everyone's favorite shows ever and there's more.

I mean, my 3rd eye has been opened up to see the various types of propaganda the media has been emitting, but the key imo is to realize that you're taking in propaganda. I know artists like 21 Savage and Young Thug, for example, are propaganda tools used to help paint black people in a certain way, but why should I stop listening to them if I enjoy their music? They can't program you to they're liking if you're aware of the programming that's taking place in the first place.
