I always hear Tariq mention this when it comes to racism. It ain't how black people act or what black people do or what black people say. It's the fact you're black that they got a problem with. They was hanging black people back in the day that was saying yes sir and no mam wearing suits. What you is doing is justifying their racism. You're saying they have a reason to be racist. But they don't. I gave you a list of bullshxt white people do. Is you saying black people have a reason to target them? Is you saying black people have a reason to be racist towards white people?

We can't keep bashing our own people for everything we do then give white people a pass for all the bullshxt they do.

Anytime you bash a black person also bash a white person to even it out and show you aren't c00ning. Black people back in the day weren't doing hip hop and was still being targeted.
I was legit waiting for an answer breh:

what year did they stop the tactic of using entertainment to demonize the image/reputation of blacks?

You are exposing yourself right now my man. You are becoming more hostile with every post which is why I asked to refrain from the name-calling and cursing.

Your anger tells me that you're simply not ready for this discussion. Nothing more. Nothing less. You see the word "rapper" in these threads and that's where your focus is. You're not ready to admit that the vast majority of the messages in mainstream rap is destructive and backwards.

You aren't ready to admit this because you yourself are at a low-frequency level of thinking. You don't see any problems in the content and the images of black people transmitted throughout the world.

I can only assume that going back and forth with someone whose extremely young (which ill give you a pass for) or you simply lack knowledge of self/past history.

There's no reason you should be in here upset because someone is speaking on one of the many tactics of white supremacy.

Last question: what year did they stop using entertainment to purposely demonize the black mans image?

You’re an idiot g, you cant refute my post so you imagine things about me to support your lunacy.

You’re delusional, why do you think what Im said is because Im mad. You say Im obsessed with rappers but you’re the one who keeps bring it up.

This exchange has proved to me what I already thought. You’re an idiot. I couldn’t debate this with you if I tried because your understanding of racial and social dynamics is basic as fukk.

Bringing up how entertainment has been used throughout history to demonize the image of black people = lunacy :wow:

Again, what year did this practice end?

When exactly did they stop using entertainment to demonize and criminalize the image of blacks?

Right. So you agree with the OP that the practice of using entertainment to demonize/criminalize the black image is still going on today in 2017 or do you think that's a "conspiracy theory"?

Take away hip hop and you will really see the black community crime rate go up. More robberies. More killings. More everything. The rappers with mics in their hands hoping to make it as a rapper will trade those mics for guns hoping to catch somebody lacking.

You can what white people do is entertainment but what black people do isn't.

If you're going to say hip hop isn't entertainment then movies isn't either.

Wrestling isn't either.

Video games isn't either.

Porn isn't either.

For some reason you keep dodging the question.

All I'm asking is in 2017, do you believe entertainment is still being used as a form of media propaganda to demonize the reputation of blacks?

Its a HISTORIC FACT that its happened throughout history, but I'm asking you is it still happening today? and if not, when did it stop?

Who is using entertainment as a form of media propaganda to demonize the reputation of blacks?

If a rapper make a song he's going to want it to get as much play as possible so he can become rich. You saying stop playing hip hop songs so rappers and people in hip hop can stop making money and becoming rich.

Ok, so basicly your answer is that you DONT think entertainment is being used in 2017 to demonize the image/reputation of black people. I gotcha. You believe the practice of "media propaganda" ended at some point in time and its no longer happening today.

May I ask your race and age for confirmation?

Aight man, we're done. You've pretty much answered my question and assuming you're black (you never answered) all I can do is suggest that you open a book.

The use of entertainment to demonize a groups image has been happening throughout history and is still happening today:

If you are young I can excuse your ignorance on this subject. If you're over a certain age I think its time that you start studying the past and how the use of popular entertainment was a major tactic to keep the masses hating and fearing black people. If you have to ask who "they" are, you have bigger problems. This is all assuming you're black. If you're not black, forget this entire back and forth because this topic doesn't affect you.

And no, black people cannot demonize the reputation of whites because we have little to no control over mass media.

People asking about solutions, but we aren't even aware its happening:wow:

We not ready for solutions yet.

When I ask who. I need a answer. Because Rappers are getting their own cameraman to record their videos and upload them to YouTube or wherever.
