This has been a very smart and cunning plan by Israel and whoever else was involved but I can’t help but think how this is going backfire in the future.

Consumer products were either tapered with on the manufacturing floor or they figured out a way to remotely overheat the battery’s in these devices to cause them to explode. I’m leaning towards the former which is terrifying because to some degree the manufacturer was involved in this at some level.

Either way it’s all fun and games now to laugh at the other side until it’s done to us. A lot of our consumer electronics are made overseas. Who’s to say adversary’s won’t try the same against us?

That's not the only way it will backfire. They injured thousands of people (some terrorists, some innocent civilians) just to kill, what, 20-30 people? Not all of whom were terrorists?

This is going to create more hatred of Israel and more terrorism, not less.

That's the crazy shyt - they think that injuring a bunch of terrorists is going to make them less aggressive? They think that attacks which kill civilians will make coexisting with Israel more palatable?

The people we're dealing with are extremists at a level that is incapable of evaluating anything beyond "My side Their side". I would think an attack like this would be more about causing confusion and disarray among your enemy’s camp. No way you could truly trust your devices and equipment going forward if you’re Hezbollah.
