Imagine telling James Baldwin or Mohammed Ali back in the day that if they didn't like the status quo (domestic or foreign), they should move to a different country.

Oh wait, I don't have to imagine. They were told that, a lot. By racist ignorant retards. And by c00ns desperate to not disturb the water too much

You see the issue with telling Americans who are dissatisfied with their country's policies to move to a different country? And you have the nerve to call yourself a Muslim?

Dumb ass retard, go educate yourself on history and read the Koran more before you reply
I’m just being honest and realistic. Muhammad Ali was told to fight a war. He refused. That’s direct change he can make on his own part and person. That’s very much different than every single Americans tax dollars being used to the benefit, arming of, and funding of Israel for nearly 80 years. Rather than tell me I’m a bad Muslim tell me how to be American and stop the funding and support of Israel.

Tell me a solution while living and subsisting in America.

I’ll wait.

Unlike Muhammad Ali’s fight, which is direct, the support of Israel is indirect. Muhammad Ali was told to go fight a war. He refused and paid the cost. He’s a hero and fought a moral victory. Please tell me how one can fight AIPAC, Jewish Hollywood, Jewish funded news stations, Jewish funded politicians if even genocide does no move people to change their support? Pray tell me a solution outside of idealism. In this case the moral victory would be no longer living in America and supporting them with your tax dollars.

If you don’t vote, AIPAC will still exist.

If you do vote, AIPAC will still exist.

USA uses Israel as a vassal state and finds it to be useful. So long as you live on American soil you will be complicit in the aid and abating of Israel. This is beyond something like the Vietnam war because American troops aren’t fighting. This is why America can continue to support Israel from their chairs at home and not have to lift a finger. And yet you think one person can change USA’s Israel relations? You’re stupid as shyt. Even genocide hasn’t changed their minds.

All you can is do now is pray for is justice to prevail and for Israel to descend into civil war as they subsist on their own hubris.

You may be an idealist, but you’re also a fool. You tell me I’m a bad Muslim but actual Muslim countries can’t attack Israel full on without suffering the wrath of USA. You live in La La Land. If those Muslim nations had not lost those wars in the 50’s and 60’s we wouldn’t be talking about this. This is their failure, not mine.

Why would anyone shut the fukk up about Israel?

Israel had plenty opportunities to cut a deal to bring the hostages home. The citizens of Israel, their military, their intelligence arms, our intelligence arms all agree that there were numerous off ramps to save the hostages that Hamas agreed to, that Yahoo Neta declined. Because he, their president, does not give a fukk about them.

Do you see why focusing on Hamas in this dynamic is stupid? Especially when Yahoo Neta funded Hamas and sabotaged more moderate Palestinian groups, in hopes that the status quo would remain in place?

Don't spin what I said breh.

I said it's the one thing I wish they'd shut up about Israel about. Blaming Israel because hostages got caught up in this instead of the people who took them fukking hostage is weak af.

There are plenty of reasons to blame Israel here regarding the hostages and their recent deaths

1. For the huge intelligence and security failure that occurred on October 7

2. For empowering Hamas to the point they were able to conduct this kind of operation on October 7

3. For creating the motives for October 7 (apartheid, occupation, land theft)

4. For shooting down several valid deals brokered by Qatar and Egypt and the US, that would have brought the hostages home alive

So yeah, it's kind of stupid to skip past all that, and solely blame Hamas. Is Hamas at fault here? Yes. So also is Israel's leadership to a greater extent. They are more willing to "defeat Hamas" than rescue their citizens.

It seems that Israel’s enemies called Israel’s bluff about the ceasefire and now the hostages will bear the costs of znetanyahu’s bluff

Still no solutions from @Conan

I'm not pushing back against your indifference on this topic. Whether it's out of apathy, selfishness or ignorance

It's the suggestion that those who are disgusted at America's support of genocide and apartheid should move somewhere else that is so disgusting and indicative of racist rhetoric aimed at so many people demanding better of America in the past.

What should people do as solutions? Some are deciding to not vote. Some are protesting. Some support awareness of the Palestinian cause with their time and/or money. Some vote Democrat and hope they can push their representatives to the left on this issue.

If you want to vote out of concern for domestic issues that is your right. Where I am pushing back is the idea that others who are upset at the status quo should leave their country. Again, what the fukk?

BOTH MYTHS OF “APARTHEID” AND “GENOCIDE” HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY DEBUNKED

Indifferent?

I’m disgusted with the genocide but what do you want me to do? What do you want others to do? What are you doing besides bytching online? I protest. I boycott. I’ve not purchased Starbucks or McDonalds or any Israel supporting company in a year. I’m not sure what else you could expect out of the average American. And it hasn’t done shyt to stop this conflict.

You’ve offered no real solutions. Just ideals.

And suggesting that those who feel a kind of way leave the country is bad then by all means continue to be delusional.

My suggestion was only aimed at a certain subset of people. I’ve seen people against the genocide in Gaza to guilt trip those of us who continue to choose domestic over international affairs and are choosing to vote Democratic despite everything. They tell us to vote Green as if that will achieve anything. Endless guilt tripping while they still live here as citizens. Yes I suggest those people leave America if they want to guilt trip so badly.
