You can blame Israel for a lot (A LOT), and they have proven time and time again to be horrible toward Palestinians currently and historically…but you can’t absolve Hamas of being awful in their tactics, particularly their killing of civilians and hostages (and taking hostages to begin with). Hamas pulled the trigger here and it’s sad those people had to die.

They aren't protesting genocide. They're not angry at apartheid occupation of the West Bank or genocide in Gaza. They're angry at the hostages not being prioritized, and the negative impact of the drawn out war on the economy, and Netanyahoo's corruption.
There are a few Israeli who protest the root evil, shout out to them, but they're outnumbered by passive and active genocidaires.

Israel had plenty opportunities to cut a deal to bring the hostages home. The citizens of Israel, their military, their intelligence arms, our intelligence arms all agree that there were numerous off ramps to save the hostages that Hamas agreed to, that Yahoo Neta declined. Because he, their president, does not give a fukk about them.
Do you see why focusing on Hamas in this dynamic is stupid? Especially when Yahoo Neta funded Hamas and sabotaged more moderate Palestinian groups, in hopes that the status quo would remain in place?
