Should have just cut off the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. F-22 Is considered far more advanced even though it is a older plane.

The F-35 was built in conjunction with multiple allied countries. Also the F-35 that is sold to allies is a more watered down version than the fighter the F-35 fighter the US has.

That was also the funny part when the US through sanctions decided to not sell the F-35 to Turkey. When Turkey had used some of their own money with other countries to help develop the F-35 with the US.
