I think the missiles capable of causing damage are intercepted by the iron dome.

US strikes down most of them with the iron dome but Iran still should be capable of making some strategic strikes.

The goal isn’t necessarily to hurt israel people.

The goal is to promote more war and more aggression from israel.

They can’t compete with israel in firepower.

Their “ammo” so to speak is damaging israel’s standing/reputation internationally.

Israel will respond by killing all types of folks and they will be the “bad guy” again.

I don’t disagree with this but at some point they have to make a show of some type of force in retaliation outside of these shows.

Ultimately Britain had the mandate and therefore the final say in the matter. The U.S. did nothing aside from recognizing the state of Israel. We had a weapons embargo against Israel when the wars started after 181.
