Washington post just reported that Cohen is under investigation for Bank Fraud, Wire Fraud and Campaign Finance violations.

Then he proceeded to throw his lawyer under the bus by telling the media they need to ask dude about that money cuz he doesn't know anything about it...
Right there was the end of his lawyer's chapter....
Once Trump made a public statement like that....Feds probably hit the...."Got em...."
They probably gonna get dude on some shyt...and get em to roll on Trump.
