Real shyt. Drake is smarter than yall nikkas giving him credit for. He came in the game and didn't know better. Ended up with a fukked up deal and was still able to eat.

He planned on this View From The 6 album and then seen the writing on the wall. Dropped a mixtape and turned it into an album at the last minute, so he didn't have to beg for a release date like Wayne doing.

That mixtape turned album just completed his obligations to Young Money.

Now he one of the biggest rappers in the world and could go independent and eat like crazy.

The fact that Drake hasn't gotten any royalties off his album I thought was a known thing since J prince sued a long time ago.

Fact is he spent the last year touring the world and made a ton of $$ and none of that goes to the label. Between his solo "would you like a tour" (38 arenas) and the "Drake vs Lil wayne" (31 arenas) I'm sure he's eating just fine, the 50 cent per album he's not getting on the back end, he probably just chalks up.

But those royalties is what J prince is supposed to get his cut out of which is why he sued. Prince and can't touch his album advances or tour money or sprite money or nike money etc.
